found; hidden

under dirt and

rubble.

in the clouds of

smoke, wafting around

me, daring to cut

off my breathing.

I found

something in you

that complements me

like no other, and

I’m too afraid

to grab it.

I lost my way,

somewhere alone this path.

Desperate.

Scared.

Alone.

Searching-

How could this happen?

So bright.

So determined.

I had lost my way.

Then,

I found my way,

hidden beneath layers of dirt

Shadows.

Purpose.

Hope.

Light.

I was found.
